Landscaping & Driveway Project in Eastbourne
Project Summary
This Eastbourne project was completed for local builders, Concept Developers, working from an architect’s design to create a detailed and high-quality external finish for a character property.
The design combined traditional brickwork, block paving, raised planting areas, curved pathways and entrance detailing to create a frontage that feels both practical and beautifully considered. With the railings and gates still to be fitted..
The Brief
The brief was to bring the architect’s design to life with accuracy, care and strong attention to detail.
The property required a complete external transformation, including new pathways, raised brick planters, boundary walling, entrance areas and paving. The design featured a number of curves, changes in level and detailed brick edging, meaning the installation needed to be carefully set out and executed.
The aim was to create a finish that suited the character of the property while providing a practical layout for access, planting and future gates and railings.
What We Did
Working from the supplied drawings, we constructed the new layout across the front and side areas of the property.
The project included red brick raised planters, curved brick edging, new boundary walls and entrance piers ready for the final railings and gates. Block paving was installed throughout the paths and access areas, with contrasting borders used to define the curves and highlight the shape of the design.
The paving pattern and brickwork were carefully installed to follow the architect’s layout, creating flowing walkways between the planting areas and entrance points. Raised beds were prepared for planting, helping soften the hard landscaping and add structure to the front of the property.
