Large Resin Bound Driveway Installation in Polegate

Project Summary

This large-scale driveway transformation in Polegate, is one of our biggest projects to date, covering a full 350m² front driveway from design through to completion.

The project included a complete redesign of the property’s front driveway and entrance, replacing the original gravel driveway with a premium resin bound surface, structured block paving, decorative stone areas and a new curved brick entrance wall.

Every stage of the work was completed by our team, including the groundwork, walling, paving, edging, decorative stone and resin bound installation.

The Brief

The existing driveway was a large gravel area that offered plenty of space but lacked structure, definition and kerb appeal. The aim was to create a more practical and visually impressive entrance that would complement the modern property and make better use of the available space.

The client wanted a clean, high-end finish with a clear entrance, defined borders and a driveway layout that felt considered rather than open and unfinished.

What We Did

The driveway design was based around a combination of resin bound surfacing, block paving, cobbled edging and decorative stone.

The main driveway area was finished using 250m² of Sutherland Seal resin bound blend, creating a smooth, durable and contemporary surface. A block paved entrance and curved pathway were installed through the driveway to add contrast, guide the eye toward the property and break up the large surface area.

We also constructed 16 metres of grey curved brick walling at the front of the property, creating a strong entrance feature and improving the overall street presence. Brick piers were added to allow for future gates, while decorative stone areas helped soften the layout and add texture around the perimeter.

Key Features

Project size: 350m² front driveway
Resin bound area: 250m²
Resin blend: Sutherland Seal
Walling: 16m grey curved brick wall
Additional details: Block paved entrance, curved pathway, cobbled perimeter edging, decorative stone, brick piers for future gates

The Result

The finished driveway has completely transformed the front of the property. The new layout provides a much more refined and practical entrance, with strong kerb appeal and a high-quality finish throughout.

The Sutherland Seal resin bound surface works perfectly alongside the grey block paving and curved brickwork, creating a smart, modern driveway that feels in keeping with the property.

This was a major project from start to finish, and one we are extremely proud to have completed.
